Defending-unit control
Poison Spell
Poison damages and slows defending troops. It does not damage buildings, so it serves a different purpose from spells aimed at structural destruction.
Plan the attack
- Locate the defending units that threaten the entry and let them gather where the army can fight them.
- Place Poison so those units stay in the affected area while the army deals with them.
Common mistake
Spending Poison on a defense building. The spell’s purpose is dealing with defending units.
Works alongside
Poison can support the Queen while she fights defending Clan Castle troops. Keep the Queen supported and check that the defenders remain in the area.
Before prioritising an upgrade
Review Poison when the regular army depends on it for defending troops. Plan the fight itself rather than counting the spell as an automatic solution.
