Define what a reservation means
A suggested clan rule is: "A reservation holds this target until the named time; after that, ask the coordinator or choose another available target." State whether reservations are requests or final assignments. Players should know which person can resolve a conflict.
The game decides attack eligibility, remaining attacks and scoring. Your board only records the clan’s plan. Check the War Map before attacking, because a note can be out of date after another player finishes an attack. Use the current mode’s rules, especially when switching between regular wars and CWL.
Our war lineup guide covers choosing participants. Once those players are selected, a reservation board handles the separate question of who intends to attack which target and when.
Use the smallest board that works
Edit this worksheet, then select and copy your notes. Changes stay on this page and are lost when you reload. Do not enter account credentials.
Use the same clock convention throughout the board. "In two hours" becomes ambiguous when a message is forwarded later. A named time zone and an explicit time, or a remaining-war-time convention understood by everyone, is easier to interpret. Include the day if the war crosses midnight.
Keep account names distinct when one person plays multiple accounts. The player tag can help disambiguate identical names, but the board does not need login details. If you share it outside the clan, remove anything members do not want shared.
Resolve conflicts before either attack starts
| Situation | Suggested coordination action |
|---|---|
| Two players want one base | Coordinator confirms one reservation and another target |
| Reserved player cannot play | Release the target and notify the backup |
| Target result changes | Recheck the objective before keeping the reservation |
| Reservation expires | Follow the published expiry rule |
| War is nearly over | Use the agreed late-war coordinator |
A backup target should fit the player’s available army and the clan’s current objective. Automatically choosing the next number on the map can produce a poor match. Ask the player whether the alternative is practical before marking it assigned.
When a target changes, update both the old and new rows. Leaving a stale reservation beside a new assignment makes the board appear to give one player two simultaneous commitments. Add a short status such as released, completed, or waiting for scouting so others can see what happened.
Make the last hours easier
Agree on a shorter reservation window near the end of the war if your clan needs one. Tell players about that rule in advance. A sudden change announced while someone is already preparing an attack is likely to create confusion.
The coordinator should compare the board with the War Map and the current score, then identify unconfirmed attacks. Ask for a clear yes or no about availability. If there is no answer by the agreed deadline, apply the published handoff rule. Do not assume that a green online indicator means someone can attack immediately.
After the war, review only the coordination failures that actually occurred: duplicate plans, expired claims, missing updates or unclear time zones. Change the template to address those failures. For understanding which attacks improved the final result, use the war scoring guide. A tidy board can reduce confusion, but it cannot guarantee an attack result.
Quick questions
Does this reserve a target inside the game?
No. It is a planning worksheet. Confirm the actual target state and available attacks on the War Map.
Is there an official universal reservation expiry?
The expiry described here is a suggested clan agreement, not a Supercell rule.
