Player questions
All questions ›Where do I find my player tag?
In the game, tap your name or XP level at the top left. Your tag sits under your name and starts with #. Tap it to copy, then paste it into the search here. Tags only use the characters 0 2 8 9 P Y L Q G R J C U V, so a letter O is always a zero.
Can I search for a player by name?
Not reliably. The official Clash of Clans API has no name search, and names aren’t unique. The Name tab opens Clash of Stats, which has a much bigger directory, or searches the profiles already opened here. A tag always finds the right player.
Why can’t I see building levels, walls, last online or account age?
The official API doesn’t share them. It covers heroes, troops, spells, pets, equipment, achievements, clans, wars and raids, so that is what any site built on it can show. Tools that track buildings ask you to import your village data from the game.
Am I rushed?
There’s no in-game rule. Most players call an account rushed when heroes or key defenses are still below the previous Town Hall’s max. Clash Insight can check the hero and army side: Next moves on your profile lists the heroes furthest from your caps. Defenses aren’t in the API, so no site can judge them from a tag alone. How to check ›
Why is my progress different from Clash Ninja?
They measure different things. Clash Insight counts levels against your current Town Hall’s caps. Clash Ninja weights each upgrade by its cost, so late, expensive levels count for more. Neither is wrong.
